Advocare Weight Loss Products
A number of our regular readers have asked us about the soundness of
using Advocare weight loss products. Because we try to be as open
minded and complete as possible in educating the general public on weight
loss, we're happy to answer these readers' query.
What are Advocare Weight Loss Products?
Advocare make over-the-counter diet pills. In that they aren't
alone, as hundreds of different companies generate millions of dollars of
revenue by selling diet pills to the largely overweight public.
Are there any dangers with Advocare weight loss products?
Advocare make weight loss products which did contain ephedrine.
Unfortunately, there are serious and potentially even fatal side effects
to products which contain ephedrine. Consumers are not being
properly informed of the risks. As a result of recent concerns by
the FDA, some companies have attempted to clean up the image of their
products, by reformulating them.
What is the view of the FDA on ephedrine?
Over the last five years, the American Food and Drug Administration have
recorded over 1,000 serious reactions to ephedra (ephedrine), including
38 deaths. The reactions include extremely high levels of blood
pressure, insomnia, irregular heart beats, strokes, heart attacks,
seizures, and tremors.
We recommend our readers use a well-known, regular weight loss program,
such as
Slim for Life, and steer clear of weight loss pills.
