Dotties Weight Loss Zone
The Weight Loss Slimmer ™ often uses the stories of people's struggles
with weight as an example of just what can be achieved, and to show the
right and wrong ways of losing weight. Today, we delve deeper into
the journey of Dottie, who we touched on briefly in our article
Dotties Weightloss Zone.
The History of Dotties Weight Loss Zone
Dotties Weight Loss Zone began in September of 1998, when Dottie began
writing about herself. It narrates the experience of a woman's
journey with losing weight. With carrying in excess of 100 lbs of
weight, she discusses what it felt like to be a "couch potato", spending
many of her days sleeping them away.
In November of 1997, Dottie weighed 243 lbs.
Why was Dotties Weight Loss Zone Written?
Dottie tells us she wrote Dotties Weight Loss Zone in an attempt to
provide some sort of encouragement to other overweight people, and if
possible, some motivation.
She mentions the importance of finding someone that you find personally
motivating, and using them to help keep your progress on track. She
says that receiving compliments about the small successes you've had can
spur you on to greater things.
In Dotties Weight Loss Zone, she writes that keeping your approach to
weight loss "simple" makes a program easier to follow. She
encourages people to brave the serious step of making a lifestyle change.
What advice is mentioned in Dotties Weight Loss Zone?
Dottiies adage is "One day at a time, no guilt and move on". She
also believes that "success is achieved and maintained by those who try
and keep trying".
She also says, "if you always do what you always did - you'll always get
what you always got." Which is her way of saying, if you repeat the
same behaviors as you did in the past, expect the same results.
