List Calories Chinese Food

Out with the chopsticks!  It's time to order up another serve of steaming, hot noodles and calorie information about Chinese food, in plum sauce.  Our previous article calories in Chinese food proved to be so popular amongst our readers, we've been asked to once again pass the microscope over the oriental delicacies.

A List Calories Chinese Food Dishes

Let's left the Bamboo Curtain, and show you what's really in each of the popular Chinese dishes.

Egg Roll

Percentage calories from fat: 52%; fat: 11g

Topping the "oh so naughty" list is the egg roll, with a whopping 52% of its calories coming from pure fat.  Most of the calories come from the fried wanton wrapper.

Moo Shu Pork

Percentage calories from fat: 47%; fat: 64g

Not only is this dish the second highest by percentage in fat, but it also takes the award for having the highest amount of saturated fat of any dish.  Would you like a second helping?

Kung Pao Chicken

Percentage calories from fat: 42%; fat: 76g

This heavy fat friend owes much of its oil to the high level of nuts it contains.  It also contains 1400 calories.

Sweet and Sour Pork

Percentage calories from fat: 39%; fat: 71g

Although this entree is the lowest measured in salt content, it certainly makes up for it in fat and calories.
