Low Carb Diets Recipes
With low carb diets currently all the buzz, we've had numerous requests
for some more low carb diets recipes. We've scoured our database
looking for recipes that would make any carb counter proud.
Low Carb Diets Recipes #1:
Fresh Oven Pancakes
Total Dish: 6 servings
Per Serve: 2.8g of Carbs
2 tbsp butter
3 eggs
1/2cup high gluten flour
1/4 cup cream
1/4 cup water
salt to taste (approx 1/4 tsp)
Melt butter in pan, and then beat the eggs. In a bowl, add the butter,
flour, cream, water. Mix well. Pour into hot pan. Bake at 400 degrees F
for approx. 25 minutes until the pancakes are puffed and golden in color.
Serve with maple butter or a low carbohydrate syrup of your choice.
Low Carb Diets Recipes #2:
Feta Meatballs
Total Dish: 16 servings
Per Serve: 1.5g of Carbs
1/2 cup chopped parsley
2 tbsp finely chopped onion
1 lb ground lamb, beef, or chicken
1/2 cup feta cheese
1/2 cup pitted olives
2 eggs
1 tsp dried oregano
Crumble the feta, coarsely chop the olives. Combine all the
ingredients with your hands and shape into approx. 16 meatballs. Place
the meatballs a couple of inches apart on a baking sheet. Broil
about 3 inches away from the heat until browned on top. Flip the
meatballs. Broil on the other side.
