Low Carb Recipes

Hungry?  Right, well time to whip up some low carb recipes that not only taste good, but won't put your weight loss plans into sharp reverse.

Low carb recipes needn't be boring.  That's old thinking.  Today we discover something suited to even the fussiest sweet tooth.

Vanilla Ice Cream

Ingredients

5 egg yolks
1 cup sugar substitute sweetner of your choice
3 teaspoons sugar free vanilla extract
1 1/4 cups heavy cream, whipped
1 cup water

Instructions

Combine egg yolks, vanilla extract, artificial sweetener and water in blender and beat at medium speed for 30 seconds. Fold yolk mixture into whipped cream. Blend lightly, maintaining the creams fluffy texture. Empty into refrigerator tray and freeze for 2 hours.

Makes: 8 1/2-cup servings. 4 carbs per serving.
