Sample Diets for Lowering Cholesterol
Cholesterol is a hard, waxy substance that can be dissolved in fat, but
isn't water soluble. It has a melting point of around 300°F.
An estimated 35% of Americans have a significantly higher cholesterol
level than what is safe for their hearts, according to recent US
government statistics. Diet Therapy - substantial modification of
your diet to a lower cholesterol intake via a better choice of foods, is
the first plan of attack in successfully lowering cholesterol.
